Parfum Chanel No.5 dari rumah mode Chanel berhasil menobatkan dirinya sebagai parfum yang tak lekang waktu. Sejak pertama diluncurkan, parfum ini sudah menjadi kesukaan banyak orang, salah satunya aktris old Hollywood, Marilyn Monroe. Dengan botol kotak bening dengan label No.5 yang klasik dan elegan, Chanel No.5 memberikan nuansa keharuman kompleks kombinasi aldehydes dan floral, dilapisi aroma hangat dari vetiver, sandalwood, vanilla, amber, dan patchouli.

Parfum legendaris Chanel sudah ada sejak 100 tahun yang lalu. Setelah sukses dengan bisnis mode dengan butik di Paris, Deauville, dan Biarritz, Coco Chanel berambisi untuk membawa suatu yang berbeda dalam bisnisnya tersebut. Chanel memilih No.5 yang merupakan hasil ketidaksengajaan asisten Beaux dalam mencampurkan aldehyde dalam ramuan dengan kuantitas yang belum pernah dicoba sebelumnya.
