Intinews |Menjadi bagian dari sesuatu yang ikonik dan bersejarah, inilah yang menjadi pendorong Fahd Yudhanegoro, Head of Region Sumatera Indosat Ooredoo Hutchison dalam meniti karirnya. Ia sudah merasakan asam garam mulai dari pegawai entry level hingga akhirnya bisa menjadi pemimpin regional seperti saat ini. Bukan hal yang mudah, namun butuh komitmen dan adaptasi yang cepat dalam setiap langkahnya.
Sebelum akhirnya berjodoh dengan Indosat Ooredoo Hutchison (IOH) di 2021, ia memiliki banyak pengalaman di berbagai bidang industri. Mulai dari management trainee di Coca Cola, menjejal start up bersama Grab dan OVO, masuk ke dunia kecantikan dengan L’oreal Indonesia hingga yang terlama dilaluinya bersama bersama Danone, dengan tampuk posisi sebagai Regional Sales Director Aqua, salah satu brand FMCG yang terbesar di Indonesia.
“Di awal karir, saya pernah menjadi canvasser di salah satu perusahaan telekomunikasi Indonesia namun tidak lama karena setelah itu saya beralih ke industri Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) bersama Danone. Sampai akhirnya, saya tertarik kembali ke dunia telko dengan IOH karena saya melihat Indonesia akan menjadi digital nation yang besar di Asia Pasifik, sehingga perkembangan investasi di layanan berbasis aplikasi akan turut meningkatkan pertumbuhan infrastruktur telekomunikasi digital yang pesat juga”, ucap Fahd yang masa kecilnya dihabiskan di tanah Sumatera
Fahd sangat bangga bisa bekerja di IOH, salah satu perusahaan telekomunikasi terbesar di Indonesia, dan ia ingin terus berjalan bersama IOH untuk memberikan kontribusi nyata ke masyarakat. “Di dunia telko, pekerjaan saya bisa memberikan nilai lebih kepada masyarakat, misalnya para nelayan sebelumnya menjual hasil tangkapannya di pasar dengan harga yang ditentukan tengkulak, namun dengan adanya telekomunikasi digital para nelayan bisa memanfaatkan marketplace atau bekerja sama dengan pihak ketiga supply chain untuk membuat harga yang lebih kompetitif”, tambah pria berusia 40 tahun ini.
Fahd masuk IOH dalam masa transisi sebelum dan sesudah merger. Setelah hampir satu setengah tahun menjadi Head of Region Sumatera dengan memegang brand IM3, Ia mengungkapkan IOH menunjukkan prestasi yang baik. Menurutnya ini perpaduan antara teknologi dan sales, dengan menerapkan strategi kunci untuk bisa mencapai visi dan menjalankan misi perusahaan.
Ia merasakan setelah merger, mitra outlet penjualan menjadi makin banyak karena adanya penambahan modern channel seperti Alfamart, Indomaret, toko ritel modern, dan online marketplace. Penambahan kanal penjualan modern ini mendorong Region Sumatera berinvestasi di SDM untuk bisa menjangkau area dengan lokasi mitra outlet terluar dan terjauh di pulau Sumatera.
“Kami membuat strategi mitra outlet IOH di area 3T yaitu terdepan, terpencil dan tertinggal. Kami memberikan pelatihan untuk meningkatkan penjualan agar mereka mau membantu pemasaran produk IOH di area tersebut. Kami juga fungsikan mitra outlet IOH sebagai mini gerai untuk melayani kebutuhan pelanggan di area tersebut. Tujuannya agar semua masyarakat bisa menikmati jaringan IOH yang lebih baik dan merata,” ucapnya antusias.
Pria kelahiran Oktober ini menyukai bidang sales dan marketing, terbukti ia pernah menduduki posisi penting yaitu Regional Sales Director Danone dan National Sales Head L’Oreal Indonesia. Oleh karena itu, dari sisi penjualan di regional Sumatera ia pertajam setiap lokasi site BTS dengan cara me-monetize site BTS satu per satu dan mengubah strategi dari makro ke mikro. Hasilnya yang ia raihpun ternyata positif, pendapatan meningkat dan site BTS yang tidak produktif semakin berkurang.
Sebagai seorang pemimpin, Fahd terinspirasi dengan cara kepemimpinan para Leaders di IOH. Ia tertarik bergabung dengan IOH karena para pimpinan perusahaan percaya padanya, meski latar belakang dan pengalaman bekerjanya tidak banyak di bidang telekomunikasi. “Leaders IOH memberikan contoh nyata. Mereka berjalan bersama karyawan dan memiliki prinsip treat our employee excellent, they will treat our customer excellent too,” ucapnya bangga.
Harapannya sebagai SVP Head of Region Sumatera IOH, Fahd ingin IOH semakin kokoh sebagai perusahaan telekomunikasi terbesar kedua di Indonesia. Saat ini, IOH di Sumatera Selatan mencatat prestasi sebagai nomor 1 alias market leader, sedangkan di utara dan sentral Sumatera hingga kini terus mengalami perkembangan positif. “Semoga di tahun 2027 IOH bisa menjadi perusahaan telekomunikasi nomor satu di Indonesia”, tutup Fahd dengan optimis.
