Intinews | Bank Indonesia dan Otoritas Jasa Keuangan bekerjasama dengan Kementerian Kesehatan Republik Indonesia menyelenggarakan pemberian vaksinasi Covid-19 dosis kedua bagi pegawai di Industri Jasa Keuangan (IJK) dan Sistem Pembayaran (SP), serta masyarakat umum di kawasan Tennis Indoor Senayan. Vaksinasi dosis kedua ini diberikan kepada 7.500 peserta vaksinasi.
Gubernur BI, Perry Warjiyo, Ketua Dewan Komisioner OJK, Wimboh Santoso, bersama Dirjen Pencegahan dan Pengendalian Penyakit Kemenkes, Maxi Rein Rondonuwu, melakukan peninjauan pelaksanaan kegiatan vaksinasi Covid-19 dosis kedua tersebut, Rabu (8/9/2021), merupakan kelanjutan dari kegiatan vaksinasi dosis pertama yang telah dilaksanakan pada tanggal 16 dan 17 Juni 2021 lalu.
Kegiatan ini merupakan bentuk sinergi untuk mempercepat program vaksinasi Covid-19 sehingga mendorong terciptanya kekebalan komunitas di seluruh lapisan masyarakat sesuai target Pemerintah di tahun ini. Hingga tanggal 6 September 2021 ini, tercatat 4 juta masyarakat yang tersebar di seluruh Indonesia telah divaksin.
Perry, menegaskan bahwa vaksinasi adalah game changer bagi pemulihan ekonomi nasional. Oleh karena itu, BI terus berupaya mendukung percepatan distribusi vaksin ke daerah melalui Kantor Perwakilan Bank Indonesia di seluruh Indonesia dengan senantiasa berkoordinasi dengan pemerintah daerah setempat dan lembaga terkait.
Sementara Ketua Dewan Komisioner OJK, Wimboh Santoso, mengatakan OJK akan bekerjasama dengan BI, Kemenkes, IJK dan SP serta berbagai pihak lainnya, untuk mempercepat vaksinasi Covid-19 dengan harapan target pemberian vaksinasi kepada 10 juta pegawai IJK dan SP serta masyarakat umum tercapai, sehingga ke depannya bisnis industri jasa keuangan menjadi lebih kuat dan pada akhirnya akan mendorong pemulihan ekonomi nasional.
BI, OJK, Kemenkes akan senantiasa mendorong percepatan vaksinasi di sektor jasa keuangan di semua daerah sehingga dapat tercapai herd immunity masyarakat Indonesia guna mendukung pemulihan ekonomi nasional. (sil/**)
