Intinews | Otoritas Jasa Keuangan (OJK) meluncurkan Aplikasi Otomasi Informasi BPR/BPRS untuk Inklusi Keuangan atau disingkat aplikasi iBPR-S guna semakin mendorong akses keuangan masyarakat terhadap produk dan layanan BPR/BPRS khususnya segmen ekonomi mikro dan kecil.
Peluncuran aplikasi iBPR-S dilakukan Ketua Dewan Komisioner OJK Mahendra Siregar, didampingi Deputi Komisioner Pengawas Perbankan II Bambang Widjanarko, serta disaksikan perwakilan beberapa asosiasi perbankan di Jakarta, Senin.
“Aplikasi iBPR-S ini juga merupakan bentuk dukungan OJK untuk mendorong pengembangan BPR/BPRS yang sekaligus merupakan implementasi dari Master Plan Sektor Jasa Keuangan, khususnya pilar Akselerasi Transformasi Digital dalam mendorong inovasi dan akselerasi transformasi digital sektor jasa keuangan,” kata Mahendra.
Mahendra menjelaskan BPR/BPRS memiliki karakteristik khusus yang membuat keberadaan BPR/BPRS masih sangat dibutuhkan oleh masyarakat hingga saat ini. Karakteristik khusus tersebut antara lain sebaran lokasi BPR/BPRS yang sebagian besar berada di wilayah Kabupaten atau Kecamatan, pemberian layanan yang mengedepankan pendekatan personal atau kekeluargaan, proses pelayanan yang cepat dan sederhana, serta karakter produk dan layanan yang disesuaikan dengan kebutuhan masyarakat di daerah atau wilayahnya.
Aplikasi iBPR-S dirancang agar masyarakat semakin bisa memanfaatkan keunggulan BPR/BPRS tersebut seperti untuk kepentingan menemukan titik lokasi jaringan kantor BPR/BPRS yang berada di sekitar tempat tinggal. Kemudian, memperoleh informasi mengenai produk dan layanan yang ditawarkan oleh setiap BPR/BPRS, memperoleh informasi mengenai tingkat suku bunga penjaminan LPS yang terkini sebagai landasan pertimbangan masyarakat dalam memilih produk simpanan pada BPR/BPRS.
Mahendra juga meminta asosiasi BPR/BPRS, Perbarindo, Perbamida, dan Asbisindo dapat mendorong peningkatan penggunaan iBPR-S dan memperoleh informasi terkait BPR/BPRS.
Selain itu, agar penyediaan informasi produk dan layanan BPR/BPRS dapat berjalan optimal melalui aplikasi iBPR-S, OJK akan mengawal BPR/BPRS untuk menyajikan informasi yang akurat dan terkini pada aplikasi iBPR-S, sehingga masyarakat dapat memperoleh manfaat sebaik-baiknya dari produk dan layanan BPR/BPRS.
“Peran BPR/BPRS dalam mendorong pertumbuhan ekonomi di wilayah masing-masing perlu terus ditingkatkan sehingga dapat menjadi mitra strategis pemerintah daerah khususnya dalam pengembangan UMKM”, ungkapnya. (sil/**)
