“Angka inflasi nasional merupakan penjumlahan dari langkah-langkah yang dilakukan oleh semua daerah, 548 daerah, baik provinsi, kemudian kota dan kabupaten, semua harus bergerak bersama,” kata Mendagri Tito, melalui keterangan tertulisnya, saat memimpin rapat koordinasi pengendalian inflasi daerah di Jakarta, Senin (24/10/2022).
Walaupun angka inflasi kita melandai, hal itu tidak boleh membuat semua pihak lengah karena akar penyebab inflasi bukan pada kondisi ekonomi lokal, tetapi lebih pada kondisi global yang sampai saat ini masih terus memengaruhi sektor ekonomi dan keuangan.
Menurut Tito, meskipun pandemi COVID-19 telah melandai di banyak negara, namun sisa dampak ekonomi yang disebabkan oleh pandemi masih terasa.
Perang yang masih berlangsung antara Rusia dan Ukraina pun terus menekan kondisi ekonomi global, sehingga hal itu terasa sampai ke daerah-daerah di Indonesia.
Penyebabnya, kata Tito, karena Rusia merupakan pemain besar di sektor ekonomi, pangan, bahan bakar, dan energi.
Kemudian, Ukraina mendapat bantuan kekuatan dari Barat dan Pakta Pertahanan Atlantik Utara (NATO), yang notabene juga memegang kendali global di berbagai sektor.
“Sehingga, ini betul-betul berdampak kepada dunia. Semua tahu bahwa Rusia adalah salah satu pengekspor minyak nomor empat terbesar di dunia dan energi, terutama gas di Eropa sangat tergantung kepada Rusia. Apalagi menjelang musim dingin ini, kebutuhan akan gas sangat-sangat tinggi,” kata Tito.
Selain itu, kata Tito, Rusia merupakan pengekspor gandum dan tepung nomor dua di dunia. Akibatnya, perang itu menimbulkan gangguan terhadap rantai pasokan energi dan pangan dunia yang berimbas pada situasi ekonomi dan keuangan.
“Banyak negara yang menahan pangannya masing-masing untuk kepentingan rakyatnya, demikian juga energi harga minyak sangat tinggi, belum lagi gas dan lainnya semua naik,” kataya.
