Kolaborasi BI Sumsel dengan Dinas Pariwisata OKUS ditempuh utk merawat dan melestarikan monumen bersejarah, yg penting bagi sektor pariwisata. Renovasi ini sekaligus memperingati hari Pahlawan 10 November lalu.
Gubernur Sumsel menyampaikan terima kasih banyak terhadap perhatian BI Sumsel turut merawat icon2 pariwisata Sumsel. Dalam kesempatan yg sama, Gub Sumsel jg memberikan bantuan berupa perahu.
“Saya berharap warga OKUS dapat merawat semua bantuan yg telah diberikan untuk memajukan pariwisata OKUS” imbuh Gub Sumsel.
Deputi Kepala Perwakilan Bank Indonesia Provinsi Sumsel, Nurcahyo Heru Prasetyo, menyampaikan bahwa sektor pariwisata memiliki potensi sebagai sumber pertumbuhan ekonomi baru dan harus dioptimalkan oleh Sumsel. “Dengan renovasi pada icon wisata Monpera Simpang Sender ini, kami harap dapat memperkuat daya tarik pariwisata Sumsel, khususnya OKUS sebagai destinasi sport tourism” ujar Heru Prasetyo.(sil/**)
