Intinews | Kepala Staf Angkatan Darat (KSAD), Jenderal Dudung Abdurrachman meresmikan gedung Gedung C Makodam II Sriwijaya dan Gedung Markas Komando Resor Militer (Korem) 044/Gapo, Selasa (8/3).
“Terima kasih kepada Gubernur dan Ketua DPRD Sumatera Selatan yang memberikan hibah untuk pembangunan gedung-gedung ini, mudah-mudahan memotivasi prajurit dalam menjalankan tugas,” katanya seusai peresmian Gedung C Markas Komando Daerah Militer (Kodam) II/Sriwijaya di Palembang.
Saat dia masih menjabat sebagai Mayor di Kodam II Sriwijaya, belum ada halaman parkir khusus untuk pejabat yang akan memarkirkan kendaraannya kecuali di halaman Kodam II Sriwijaya.
Namun selama kepemimpinan Pangdam II Sriwijaya, Mayjen TNI Agus Suhardi, pembangunan mulai dilakukan.
“Sewaktu saya masih menjabat Mayor, beberapa pejabat parkirnya di halaman ini,” katanya.
Sementara itu, Gubernur Sumsel, H Herman Deru mengatakan, pembangunan ini belum maksimal karena baru sebagian. Dia berharap ini menjadi legecy yang menjadi catatan sendiri dari Makodam II Sriwijaya.
Sebagai pemimpin daerah, ini juga merupakan tanggung jawabnya untuk membantu kinerja prajurit Kodam II/ Sriwijaya.
“Saya atas nama masyarakat Sumsel memberikan hibah berupa bangunan yang memang sangat dibutuhkan oleh prajurit TNI. Dengan semaksimal mungkin ini untuk membangun sinergitas masa kini dan yang akan datang,” pungkasnya.
Sementara itu, Pangdam II/Sriwijaya Mayor Jenderal TNI Agus Suhardi menambahkan Gedung C yang baru diresmikan tersebut terdiri atas lima lantai yang setiap lantai memiliki fungsi masing-masing.
Di mana, lantai pertama, kedua, dan ketiga gedung berfungsi sebagai tempat parkir yang bisa menampung sebanyak 52, 22, dan 29 unit mobil, pos jaga, ruang monitor videotron, dan pintu lift. Kemudian di lantai empat berfungsi sebagai Kantor Pendam, Denmadam, dan Kantor PD II/SWJ, dan lantai lima ruang mesin lift.
“Kemudian juga telah selesai Gedung Makorem 044/Gapo yang menjadi lebih representatif dari sebelumnya sehingga melalui bantuan yang sudah sejak lama diharapkan oleh para prajurit ini diharapkan bisa membuat mereka lebih optimal lagi dalam bertugas,” katanya.
