Intinews | Gerakan Nasional Pengendalian Inflasi Pangan (GNPIP) di Sumatera Selatan terus berjalan untuk menjaga stabilitas inflasi volatile foods. Hal ini diwujudkan dalam kegiatan GNPIP Bali Nusra dimana kota Palembang melaksanakan kesepakatan bersama dengan kabupaten Bangli untuk melakukan pengembangan pembangunan potensi daerah. Seremoni kegiatan ini dilaksanakan dalam rangkaian kegiatan Gerakan Nasional Pengendalian Inflasi Pangan (GNPIP) wilayah Bali Nusra di Hotel Laguna Bali, 9 Desember 2022. Penandatanganan dilakukan oleh Walikota Palembang, H. Harnojoyo, S.Sos dan Bupati Bangli, Sang Nyoman Sedana Arta, SE.
Penandatanganan kesepakatan bersama ini merupakan tindak lanjut dari kegiatan Capacity Building TPID Provinsi Sumatera Selatan dan Palembang bersama TPID Provinsi Bali dan Kabupaten Bangli pada Juli 2022 lalu. Adapun salah satu ruang lingkup kesepakatan bersama ini adalah di bidang perdagangan, dimana salah satu tindak lanjutnya adalah dengan pelaksanaan KAD antara Kota Palembang dan Kabupten Bangli untuk komoditas bawang merah.
Kepala Perwakilan Bank Indonesia Provinsi Sumatera Selatan, Erwin Soeriadimadja, menyampaikan bahwa komoditas bawang merah secara historis sering kali menjadi penyumbang inflasi Kota Palembang. Untuk wilayah Sumatera Selatan, kebutuhan bawang merah per hari mencapai sekitar 80 ton. Guna memenuhi permintaan tersebut, Sumatera Selatan membutuhkan pasokan dari berbagai daerah. Dengan latar belakang tersebut, Bank Indonesia berupaya memfasilitasi terjalinnya kerja sama antar daerah untuk memenuhi pasokan dan menjaga kestabilan harga pangan. “Pelaksanaan KAD menjadi wujud nyata sinergi antara Bank Indonesia, TPID Kota Palembang dan berbagai pihak terkait dalam pengendalian inflasi daerah serta sebagai langkah nyata implementasi Gerakan Nasional Pengendalian Inflasi Pangan Sumatera Selatan”, ujar Erwin.
Kesempatan yang sama, Walikota Palembang, H. Harnojoyo, S.Sos menyampaikan bahwa pelaksanaan kerja sama antar daerah yang dilaksanakan antara TPID Kota Palembang dan TPID Kabupaten Bangli ini sangat penting sebagai salah satu upaya pengendalian inflasi pangan di Palembang. Selama ini pasokan bawang merah di wilayah Palembang didatangkan antara lain dari wilayah Brebes, Jawa tengah dan Bima Nusa Tenggara Barat ( NTB). Sebagai antisipasi apabila terjadi gangguan pasokan dari wilayah tersebut, maka diperlukan alternatif kerja sama dengan daerah sentra produksi bawang merah lainnya seperti dengan Kabupaten Bangli, Provinsi Bali.
“Saya berharap kerja sama ini dapat terimplemetasi dengan baik, dan ke depan dapat semakin diperluas di sektor lainnya. Ke depan, Pemerintah Kota Palembang juga akan terus berkoordinasi dalam forum TPID Kota Palembang guna memastikan KAD ini dapat berjalan dengan optimal, salah satunya dengan upaya memberikan subsidi ongkos angkut/transportasi apabila diperlukan”, harapnya.
Sebagai informasi, pada hari yang sama kesepakatan bersama ini juga telah ditindaklanjuti dengan penandatanganan Perjanjian Kerja Sama antara Dinas Pertanian dan Ketahanan Pangan Kota Palembang dan Dinas Pertanian, Ketahanan Pangan dan Perikanan Kabupaten Bangli. Di bidang pertanian, diharapkan dapat terjalin sinergi kerja sama dalam hal alih teknologi antar kelompok petani.
