Intinews | Komite Olahraga Rekreasi Masyarakat Indonesia (KORMI) Provinsi Kalimantan Selatan (Kalsel) menggelar Rapat Kerja Provinsi (Rakerprov) Tahun 2022 di Gedung Mahligai Pancasila, Banjarmasin.
Rakerprov tersebut dibuka langsung oleh Ketua Umum KORMI Nasional Haryono Isman dan dihadiri seluruh Ketua KORMI Kabupaten/Kota se-Kalsel.
Dikesempatannya, Wakil Ketua III Bidang Sumber Daya Manusia (SDM) KORMI Kalsel, Muhammadun mengatakan dalam Rakerprov ini membahas program kerja dan persiapan KORMI dalam menghadapi kejuaraan di tingkat Provinsi serta bersiap mengikuti Fornas VI Sumatera Selatan (Sumsel) tahun 2022.
“Kita akan membahas persiapan atlet dalam mengikuti Kegiatan Fornas VI Sumsel yang akan digelar pada Juli mendatang,” kata Madun, Selasa (18/1/2022).
Menurutnya, prestasi KORMI di ajang Fornas sebelumnya berada pada posisi ranking 3 dan 4. Diharapkan di Sumsel mendatang prestasinya meningkat. “Semoga di Sumsel mendatang kita tidak jauh dari 3 dan 4,” ungkapnya.
Oleh karena itu, ada 38 inorga yang dilombakan pada Fornas mendatang, Ia menyampaikan, KORMI Kalsel akan mengikuti inorga-inorga yang memang menjadi inorga unggulan banua.
“Jadi kita akan mengirim inorga tertentu yang memang sudah memperoleh medali dan menjadi inorga andalan KORMI Kalsel,” terangnya.
Ia berharap di ajang Fornas VI nanti, KORMI Kalsel mampu mempertahankan gelar juara dan peringkat tiga besar seperti tahun 2017 lalu. “Kita harap kemenangan dapat dipertahankan dan kalau bisa ada peningkatan prestasi,” katanya. (IP)
