Toni Harmanto, MH., menerima Aksi Unjuk Rasa dari Gabungan Organisasi Mahasiswa yang terdiri dari Aliansi Mahasiswa Muhammadiyah Palembang, Badan Eksekutif Mahasiswa (BEM) Nusantara Daerah Sumatera Selatan, Kelompok Cipayung Plus Kota Palembang, dan Perkumpulan Gerakan Kebangsaan DPW PGK Sumsel dan DPD PGK Kota Palembang, Senin (11/04/22)
Ketua DPRD Sumsel Sumsel Hj. RA. Anita Noeringhati, SH, MH mempersilahkan perwakilan mahasiswa untuk terlebih dahulu menyampaikan tuntutan mereka terhadap pemerintah.
Perwakilan mahasiswa kemudian menyampaikan aspirasinya terhadap DPRD Sumsel.
“Ada beberapa tuntutan yang telah kami sepakati bersama, pertama kami menolak isu penundaan pemilu tahun 2024 serta perpanjangan masa jabatan Presiden, kedua kami menolak kenaikan bahan bakar minyak (BBM), ketiga kami menolak bahan-bahan pokok naik, keempat kami menolak PPN naik 11%, kelima menolak pemindahan Ibu Kota Negara (IKN),” katanya.
Tidak hanya itu, namun mahasiswa juga mendesak agar DPRD Provinsi Sumsel tidak hanya menerima.
“Kami menuntut agar DPRD Sumsel tidak hanya menerima aspirasi kami, namun juga ikut bersama merealisasikan tuntutan ini terhadap pemerintah pusat,” jelasnya.
“Kami terima dan akan kami tindak lanjuti ke DPR RI,” ujar Anita.
Dikatakan Anita bahwa, untuk tuntutan penundaan tiga kali atau pemilu tiga kali sudah ada jawabannya.
“Tetapi untuk masalah minyak goreng, dan kenaikan harga lainnya menjadi PR kita bersama. Kita bersama pak Gubernur Sumsel akan mengusulkan ke Pemerintah Pusat, karena kebijakan harga bukan di Provinsi tapi kebijakan harga itu ada di pusat. Sehingga kewajiban kami untuk menyampaikan suara melalui DPRD Sumsel ini ke DPR RI,” katanya. (sil)
