Intinews | Otoritas Jasa Keuangan akan segera mengeluarkan dua ketentuan di bidang Industri Keuangan Non Bank (IKNB) yaitu peraturan mengenai Produk Asuransi Yang Dikaitkan dengan Investasi (PAYDI atau unitlink) dan perubahan peraturan mengenai layanan pinjam meminjam uang berbasis teknologi informasi (fintech peer to peer lending).
“Kedua peraturan itu akan dikeluarkan mengingat pentingnya penguatan operasional industri perasuransian dan fintech P2P lending yang harus diiringi dengan peningkatan aspek perlindungan konsumen,” kata Kepala Eksekutif Pengawas IKNB OJK Riswinandi.
Menurutnya, penyempurnaan aturan PAYDI antara lain meliputi area spesifikasi produk, persyaratan perusahaan untuk dapat menjual PAYDI, praktik pemasaran, transparansi produk, dan pengelolaan investasi.
“Upaya penguatan regulasi tersebut bertujuan agar permasalahan pemasaran khususnya ketidakpahaman nasabah atas PAYDI dapat diminimalisir dan perusahaan asuransi dapat meningkatkan tata kelola dan manajemen risiko dengan lebih baik,” kata Riswinandi.
Sementara perubahan ketentuan fintech P2P lending antara lain mengatur kepemilikan platform layanan pendanaan bersama, bentuk badan hukum, modal pendirian, nilai ekuitas, batas maksimum pendanaan, pemegang saham pengendali, dan sejumlah larangan untuk perlindungan konsumen seperti tatacara penagihan.
“Perubahan ketentuan layanan pendanaan bersama ini ditujukan untuk memperkuat industri fintech P2P lending dari sisi kelembagaan dan layanan terhadap konsumen serta kontribusinya bagi perekonomian,” kata Riswinandi.
Riswinandi juga menjelaskan dalam perumusan aturan yang baru ini sudah melibatkan pelaku industri dan stakeholders termasuk akademisi, sehingga diharapkan begitu ketentuannya diundangkan maka bisa segera diimplementasikan.(**)
