Deru menjelaskan bahwa pembangunan infrastruktur gedung IGD RS. Siti Khadijah Palembang merupakan wujud komitmen dari pemerintah dalam menjadikan Sumsel sebagai destinasi wisata kesehatan (health tourism) di Indonesia
“Tekad ini sudah kita canangkan bahwa Sumsel harus menjadi destinasti wisata kesehatan atau health tourism,” ujarnya.
Dia berharap manajemen terus berbenah dalam memodernisasi alat kesehatan dan pelayanan kesehatan.
Pembangunan Gedung IGD RS. Siti Khadijah Palembang beserta ambulans berasal dari bantuan CSR PT Bukit Asam melalui Pemprov Sumsel.
